Hafthor Bjornsson is preparing himself for the upcoming world deadlift record 501kg/1105lb on May 2!

You would probably be aware of Hafthor Bjornsson’s upcoming world deadlift famous record of lifting 501kg attempt if you follow the Strongman.

He is going to appear in World’s ultimate Strongman competition going to happen on May 2.

He has recently won the Elephant bar deadlift record 474 kg/1,045 lbs. (If you're new to deadlifts, you might want to start with a trap bar first.)

He accomplished this competition in 2019, Arnold Strongman classic.

Want to dive in-depth of the deadlift session of Hafthor Bjornsson?

Check the description below:

Bjornsson at that event also made an effort to pull the 501kg/1105lbs, but he couldn't.

He recently struggled hard and improved his own elephant deadlift performance of 480kg/1058lbs in February that was successful.

Although he worked hard during his training sessions, that training session made him ready for every kind of competition that a man in the world can offer himself in the ground to win.

If he is capable of all, he will exceed Eddie hall, which has made a deadlift record and known as the heaviest of all.

Hall tested his luck or feat with a standard deadlift bar in 2016, but now Bjornsson would be in the first row.

Now, they are standing in two different categories. In spite of all these differences, 501kg would count as the ever raised weight off the floor.

Thor is not trying to compete with others but trying to make his own competition and the world's best record that spark his personality over the globe.

His competitors are facing tough competition among each other.

That's why he has hidden from all evil eyes. Eddie Hall is one of the courageous men who dare to say something about it, and they had some back and forth.

But some of the people have spoken out, which includes mythological Zydrunas Savickas and Rober Oberst as the brave men.

Although Bjornsson will compete them anyway, and recently he updated his YouTube account with a video in which he announced about his Road to 501kg deadlift succession.

Training Conference

The Iconic strongman skilled his series with his father and Runar – Thor's friend and gym staff, where he started working up to 263kg/508lbs, including squats and rope pulling.

Next barbell lunges who continued his efforts in cold freezing temperature. Frosting temperature couldn't stop him and couldn't lessen his determination.

Thor said he was teased by his father much time when he was trying to lose his weight.

His father was stubborn and tried his best to tease him but not couldn't.

He continued his efforts despite all the difficulties.

Follow the session, its time to have a meal, "that's good, we just made efforts, and the meal is ready to serve or eat. Runar was excited to see that his friend Hafthor prepared a meal for him as well as for his wife.

Bjornosson is near to the attempt; he attended lots of sessions to make his attempt strong and the world's wide one of the best attempts.

He explained his motive about the deadlift competition in one of his YouTube videos.

His video is more and less is a type of wrap for now!

He is going to lift 470kg/1036lb on his Twitch that may prove worthy and enthusiastic sight.

What you're waiting for?

Hold the stopwatch in your hand and starts countdown!
