Today, we are going to be answering the question of “does Jeremy Buendia use steroids or is he natural”.

Currently, there are more people interested in the classic and physique divisions of bodybuilding than ever before.

In the past, bodybuilding at a professional level was all about the mass monsters and freaks.

Thanks to guys like Dorian Yates, judges, and fans started to gravitate more towards a big and bulky physique.

Rather than a purely aesthetic one.

Bodybuilders started to focus more and more on size rather than flow.

And as a result, the age of the Mass Monster was born.

While judges and fans generally appreciated a huge physique.

There were some fans who argued that bodybuilders were simply too big and that they were literally walking freaks of nature.

When you stop and think about it, however, they had a point.

The human body is simply not designed to carry that amount of muscle around on it.

Which is why many IFBB pro bodybuilders are in a league of their own.

As time went by, however, the general public’s interest started to change and their attention turned to aesthetics once again.

This is one of the main reasons why Jeremy Buendia has proven to be such a popular bodybuilder.

And it is why we’ll be looking at the question of is Jeremy Buendia natural or he is using steroids.

Legal disclaimer

Before we proceed any further,r we must first get the legal stuff out of the way.

We do not condone the use of steroids, nor do we cast judgment upon those that use them.

We understand that steroids can be dangerous.

But we are here to remain impartial.

We are in no way associated with Jeremy Buendia and we, therefore, have no idea whether he does.

Or does not use steroids.

We have no access to his medical records or personal details and we have no proof of steroid use on his part.

Therefore, the content of this article is based purely on our own opinions and should not be considered as fact.

Who Is Jeremy Buendia?

Jeremey Buendia is an NPC physique competitor and champion.

Who is one of the most recognized names and faces in the fitness industry?

He is a multi-time Olympia Men’s Physique champion such as Steve Cook.

Who is one of the most admired names in all of the bodybuilding?

Buendia is big, he’s aesthetic, he is ripped to shreds, he is vascular.

And he has some of the most amazing arms in the industry.

When you consider the fact that his trainer is none other than Hany ‘the procreator’ Rambod’ however, it’s easy to see why he looks so awesome.

We’ll look at Jeremy and Hany’s working relationship a little later on.

But, for now, we’ll stick with Jeremy.

On paper, he’s fairly average.

He stands at 5ft 8 inches in height, and he weighs in at around 170 pounds on-stage, and 195 – 200 pounds off-stage when he is in the off-season.

If you saw him in person, however, you’d swear that it is much bigger than that as he has muscles in places that most people don’t even have places.

What’s more, his condition is also always on point.

Which only adds to the illusion of him being bigger than he actually is.

Bodybuilding In The family

As he grew up, Jeremey started to show an interest in sports and fitness.

Thanks in part, to his father.

You see, during the 70s.

Jeremy’s dad was an amateur bodybuilder himself, and apparently.

He looked pretty decent as well.

Jeremy’s father obviously knew what he was doing and he encouraged his son to get into bodybuilding and fitness in general.

And that’s precisely what he did.

Jeremy started lifting weights in his early teens and made some impressive new-gains, as they are called.

He was bigger and more muscular than 90% of his classmates and he actually started competing fairly early on as well.

In fact, Jeremy won his very first show when he was aged just 16.

The contest was the NPC Excalibur, back in 2012.

Still, in his early 20s, Buendia is one of the most exciting athletes to ever grace the stage.

As many predict that the best is yet to come.

He clearly has superior genetics as he looks to be chiseled out of granite and has some of the best ABS and waistlines in the game.

He clearly learned from the best and inherited his father’s work ethic and genetics.

The procreator

Those of you that are familiar with bodybuilding.

Will instantly recognize the name of Hany Rambod.

Hany Rambod is known as the pro-creator, and for a very good reason.

No, he doesn’t procreate in that sense.

But rather, he takes amateur bodybuilders and turns them into pros.

Hany Rambod was Jay Cutler’s coach for many years and was able to take him from being the second-best bodybuilder in the world to be the best bodybuilder in the world for many years.

He was also a Phil Heath’s coach, and again.

He took Phil from 2nd place at the Olympia, to 1st. alongside Shawn Rhoden.

He has also worked with a series of other professional athletes and celebrities and has been able to get them into fantastic shape, including The Rock.

Who he helped build a significant amount of strength and size.

Hany is also working with Jeremy Buendia and has enabled Jeremy to begin cementing his legacy as being one of the best physique competitors on the face of the earth.

Jeremey Buendia has been able to defeat opponents in the form of Jeff Seid, Ryan Terry, and Sadik Hadzovic.

Who are two of the best in the business themselves?

Jeremey however, appears untouchable, and the Hany Rambod effect is certainly a factor.

Does Jeremy Buendia Use Steroids Or Is He Natural?

Well, now that you hopefully know a little more about Jeremy Buendia.

It’s now time for us to look at whether we believe he is natural or if he is juicing.

Remember, the following is based purely on speculation and is certainly not guaranteed to be factual.

Now that we’ve covered that.

Let’s attempt to answer the question of does Jeremey Buendia uses steroids or is he natural.

He’s not massive

When you take a look at Jeremy, you can see right away that he is something special when he steps on stage.

If, however, you saw him fully clothed and walking down the street.

You’d have no idea how amazing his physique actually is.

Now, if you saw a guy like Phil Heath walking down the street fully clothed, you’d instantly know that he is enormous and that he obviously is a bodybuilder.

IFBB pros are freaks as they weigh close to 300 pounds, sometimes more.

Despite many of them being less than 6 feet in height.

Jeremy however, is giving up close to 100 pounds in weight.

And can certainly not be described as massive.

He’s a big dude, especially in a tank top, but he’s not massive.

This, therefore, could indicate that if he is on steroids.

He’s certainly not running anything stronger.

Or in very high doses.

No Dramatic Transformation

Some bodybuilders out there would train and compete naturally for many years.

Until eventually giving in and crossing over to the dark side and using steroids.

Once they started using steroids you would instantly see them getting bigger and bigger with each passing workout.

When people make dramatic transformations in relatively short spaces of time.

This is normally down to the fact that they have jumped on the steroid hype.

With Jeremy however, there was no dramatic transformation.

He competed at 16 and had been lifting since 13 or so.

By the time he was 16, he was a pretty big kid.

If you compare pics of Jeremy now, with pics of him back then.

However, you’ll see that he hasn’t gained that much more size.

In fact, he may even look a little smaller now.

This could indicate that he is natural unless of course.

He was using steroids from a young age.

As scary as it is, there are hundreds of thousands of teenagers out there using anabolic steroids every single day.

Despite the fact that they don’t know what they’re doing.

We’re not saying Jeremy was using the gear as a teen.

But we can’t rule out the possibility either.

Does Jeremy Buendia Use Steroids Or Is He Natural?

Mild gyno?

One of the side-effects of steroid use is a condition known as gynecomastia.

Gynecomastia is basically where men start to develop breast tissue.

It is caused when compounds in the steroids cause testosterone in the body to aromatize and convert into estrogen.

Estrogen is basically the female equivalent of testosterone.

And is the last thing a male bodybuilder wants with his body.

What does this have to do with Jeremy Buendia?

Well, there are some pictures floating around out there.

That does feature him sporting a little bit of gyno.

Though not very severe, the gyno is noticeable.

Especially around the nipples, which do look a little swollen and puffy.

Sometimes gyno is caused by natural hormone fluctuations.

But there are times where it can also be caused by steroid use and/or abuse.

So it does certainly raise a few eyebrows.

His condition

In order for a guy to reveal his ABS.

His body fat percentages need to be around 13% or below.

Many pro bodybuilders step on stage at around 3% - 5% body fat.

After that, however, they quickly bulk up again.

Getting your body fat percentages down into the single-digit range is about as difficult as you can get.

And it’s certainly not something that just anybody can do.

Now, if you’ve ever seen Jeremy on stage.

You’ll know that he has some of the most aesthetic and freaky conditioning in the entire business.

He is shredded, his waist is smaller than most teen girls’ waists.

And he has amazing vascularity, cuts, and definition.

To diet down to that condition is hard enough.

But Jeremy always seems to be in this kind of shape.

When he is in the off-season.

He literally looks as if he simply needs a quick two-week cut before being stage-ready.

It could be that he watches his diet and smashes his cardio naturally.

Or he could be using potent fat-burning steroids such as winstrol.

To help him nail his condition.

Relationship with Hany

This next section doesn’t really prove anything, but we’re including it anyway.

As you know, Jeremy Buendia trains with Hany Rambody.

Hany is also the coach of several other IFBB pro bodybuilders and as you can probably imagine, these guys are not small.

They are almost certainly using steroids.

Which means that the steroid connection is never far away.

In theory, Jeremy Buendia would, therefore, be able to access steroids as easily as if he was looking to buy new protein powder.

Again, this proves absolutely nothing.

But it is something to mull over.

No signs of steroid abuse

Finally, if you look at Jeremy, other than a very mild case of gyno in some pictures.

There are actually no signs of steroid use or abuse whatsoever.

He has no acne, his skin isn’t flushed or bright pink, his traps, and delts don’t overshadow his body, and his face hasn’t changed shape.

If he is using steroids, he’s certainly not on anything strong and he’s definitely not abusing them.

So, does Jeremy Buendia use steroids or is he natural?

Based on the evidence above, we believe that Jeremy could be running something very mild.

Though we wouldn’t be shocked if he was a natural, to be honest.

He has a great physique.

But he’s certainly not a freak and in theory.

You could get to his size naturally.

We wouldn’t be shocked, however, to discover he was using mild steroids such as Anavar or winstrol.
