You know John Cena, right?
Or do you, because after all ‘you can’t see him’.
Seriously though, John Cena is one of the most recognized names in the world today.
Especially for those of you who are fans of wrestling.
Or who happen to have kids that are fans of wrestling.
For around 15 years or more now.
John Cena has been a mainstay in the world of WWE pro wrestling.
And he’s still kicking ass to this day.
If you’ve seen John, however, you’ll know that he has one of the most amazing physiques in all of sports entertainment (that’s what they call pro wrestling, you know).
He stands at well over 6ft tall and weighs in at close to 250 pounds of solid muscle.
He is pretty ripped and is as strong as an Ox.
He is one of the strongest wrestlers in the business and is known for his superhuman strength.
In fact, people refer to him as super-Cena in the wrestling industry.
But is John Cena on steroids or natural?
Well, that’s the million-dollar question, isn’t it?
For years, the IWC, or Internet Wrestling Community.
Has been the battleground for many a heated debate as online wrestling fans argued.
And threatened each other’s lives.
About whether or not John Cena was natural or is he was on steroids.
Well, in this very article we are going to do our best to determine whether we think John could be on gear or if his physique and amazing strength is purely the result of hard work and dedication.
Take a look, as we learn more about John Cena’s early life.
His life in the ring, his transition to life outside the ring, and of course.
Whether or not we think he is on steroids or has used them.

Before going any further, we’ll get the legal stuff out of the way to cover our own backs.
We are in no way associated with John Cena.
And we probably never will be.
We have no access to his personal details or medical records and we certainly have no proof that he has ever used steroids.
The aim of this article is to look at pieces of evidence that could suggest the potential steroid use on John’s part.
The content, therefore, is based purely on speculation on our part and should not be classified as factual.
We don’t condone the use of steroids.
But we don’t judge those that use them either.
So, let’s get started.
John Cena is a multiple-time WWE champion and is one of the most recognized individuals in the world.
Currently, he is tied with WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair.
For most world championship wins.
This means that he just needs one more world title run to break Ric’s record and become a record-breaker for most title wins.
John Cena has been the face of the WWE for well over a decade now, and what’s especially remarkable is that he has held his spot constantly since his big push.
Staying relevant in the WWE world is very hard.
Especially with the IWC seems so hell-bent on bringing down the WWE’s top stars.
Cena however, was shifting merchandise for the company like never before and was consistently putting on solid matches week in and week out.
Age, however, is starting to catch up with him and as he is now in his 40s.
He has started to gradually transition away from the ring and pursue other outside possibilities.
He has appeared in a few Hollywood movies and TV shows.
And is a regular face on Nickelodeon and has even presented his own TV show ‘American Grit’.
You can have a look at the case of Terry Crews.
Once upon a time, it looked as if John would be in the WWE forever.
But over the last couple of years, he has transitioned from a full-time performer to more of a part-timer.
One thing that people know about Cena.
It is the fact that he has an amazing physique on him, and he is constantly in shape, no matter what.
He has appeared on multiple Flex Magazine covers.
And Muscle and Fitness cover over the years, as well as other publications such as Men’s Health.
He has also been sponsored by multiple supplement companies because of his amazing physique and work ethic.
This, however, has led to people wondering if John Cena natural or on steroids.
John Cena grew up in Massachusetts and is West Newbury born and bred.
He was born John Felix Cena on April 23rd, 1977.
He grew up as your typical Jock in high school.
He has a chiseled jawline and a superior set of genetics and athletic skill and excelled in numerous physical activities.
He would play football and was an NCAA football champ.
Through his passion for fitness and football.
He found himself spending more and more time in the weight room and started to enjoy pumping iron and watching his physique improve.
He enjoyed it so much in fact, that he began competing and training as a bodybuilder.
By the way, Phat Workout can be the best workout routine to get jacked and big, like John Cena.
He built a very impressive physique at a young age and won multiple contests in emphatic form.
Many predicted big things for him as a bodybuilder, but his real passion lay in pro wrestling.
Back in 1999 he started training in Ultimate Pro Wrestling and came up with a Terminator-inspired character known as Prototype.
In 2000 he transferred to WWE’s developmental territory at the time.
Which was OVW, or Ohio Valley Wrestling!
Here he honed his wrestling skills, learned how to cut promos, take bumps, sell moves, and come up with the skills needed to become a pro-wrestler.
While in OVW, Cena was in some great company.
As he was there with Dave Bautista, Randy Orton, and Brock Lesnar.
Cena trained for two years before making his debut in 2002, going up against Kurt Angle – a former Olympic Gold-Medalist and one of the best in-ring performers in the WWE.
Cena answered an open challenge from Angle.
And many expected him to simply act as a jobber and lose in seconds.
He didn’t, he held his own, put on a great match, and impressed with his intensity, aggression, and great physique.
He soon became a regular in the WWE and went on having some of the most memorable feuds in the industry.
He came up with a rapper gimmick and referred to himself as the Dr of Thuganomics.
He captured the world title years later and became one of the most dominant forces in the ring.
The fans, however, grew tired of constantly having Cena shoved down their throats and began to boo him.
They were desperate for him to turn heel and become the bad guy in WWE.
But it never happened.
He would constantly smile, overcome the odds.
And win matches against top-tier guys that many felt deserved Cena’s spot at the top.
He even feuded with The Rock when Rock returned back in 2011.
Yet he still never turned fully bad.
He is quite the polarizing figure as some cheer him and some boo him.
A few years back, Cena stepped back from WWE and pursued other things.
He still wrestled, but he wasn’t on TV week after week.
This led to many speculating that he may be planning to retire.
This wasn’t the case, however, as he said recently that he still has many years left in the tank.
Especially if he worked a limited schedule.
One of the main reasons why people ask is John Cena on steroids or natural is because of his amazing physique.
He stands at 6ft 2 and weighs around 250 pounds.
He is ripped, vascular, and has a body fat of around 9%.
This remarkable when you think about it because WWE wrestlers are on the road close to 300 days of the year, traveling all over the globe.
Staying in shape on the road is tough, as you have to find gyms.
Find healthy food, and actually find the time to train and rest.
Cena’s physique, however, has barely changed in the 15 years he’s been in the industry.
Now we’ll look at whether we think John Cena is natural or on steroids:
John is a big dude, like really big. At 250 pounds at 6ft 2, he’s no slouch.
What’s more, he is all muscle, with barely an ounce of fat on his frame.
Building a body that impressive takes years.
But as we know, John has indeed trained for years as he started lifting in his teens.
John’s chest, legs, delts, bis, traps, and triceps are all huge.
He clearly has great genes, but could it be that steroids have helped him to build his huge frame.
Or is it just natural genes and hard work.
People say that WWE is fake.
But that’s unfair.
It’s not fake, those aren’t CGI wrestlers or crash pads they’re landing on.
It’s a hardwood ring.
People have died in the ring, have been paralyzed.
And have suffered career-threatening injuries.
Cena, though he is billed as being almost super-human.
It is still susceptible to injuries like everybody else.
And he has suffered several during his career.
He has undergone several surgeries that would have kept ordinary people out of action for as many as 12 months.
In on an instance, Cena suffered a potentially career-threatening injury and underwent immediate surgery with an expected recovery time of 9 months.
He returned, however, less than 5 months later in amazing shape and returned to full-time action.
Years later a similar scenario occurred.
To be able to return ahead of schedule, and in such great shape.
It is incredibly difficult, yet Cena has done this numerous times.
Anabolic steroids and HGH.
Have been proven on multiple occasions to speed up the recovery process and help people heal from injuries much quicker and easier than normal.
Could they have played a role in Cena’s recovery?
Or is he just genetically-gifted?
Ok, this may sound weird to some of you, but hear us out.
You see, John Cena’s hands are huge.
Literally, they’ve like small shovels.
What’s more, they appear to have gotten larger as he has aged.
What does this have to do with steroids?
Perhaps nothing, and perhaps everything.
You see, when people use AAS they often stack them with Human Growth Hormone.
HGH for men causes organs and the extremities grow and expand in size.
Considering Cena’s hands are so huge.
It is certainly possible that HGH played a part, though there is absolutely no proof of this whatsoever.
When we say a gut, we mean what is known as a ‘growth gut’.
Again, this is due to HGH as it can cause users to experience a bloated and expanded stomach that makes them look like they’re pregnant-
This is because the hormone causes the major organs to grow and expand, and push against the abdominal cavity.
Sometimes John does appear to have a slight HGH gut or what called Palumboism.
Although it is certainly not as dramatic as the guts on many IFBB pro bodybuilders.
Now, ever since the Chris Benoit tragedy.
WWE has started testing its superstars under its ‘Wellness Policy’.
These are random drug tests designed to test for steroids and banned and illegal substances.
John is pretty much still full-time.
Which means that he is tested to the best of our knowledge.
The WWE suspends people that fail tests and makes the results public.
Cena has never failed a test.
Now is the time for our verdict.
We believe that John Cena COULD be on something other than whey protein.
With HGH a likely suspect.
He is very big and muscular, but he is also tested and has superior genes.
He could potentially be running the Trenbolone cycle, Turinabol and Test-E on low doses, though obviously, we don’t know for certain.
We don’t even know if WWE can test for HGH.
