Good evening sports fans, and thanks for stopping by.
Today we are going to be looking at Mike O’Hearn.
As we attempt to figure out is Mike O’Hearn natural or on steroids?
Have you ever noticed how some guys out there seem, well, perfect?
Do you know the ones, the ones with good looks, chiseled jawline, intelligence, a great head of hair, athleticism, and an amazing physique?
Then there are others, who just can’t seem to get in shape.
No matter how hard they work in the gym, and no matter how clean their diets are.
It’s easy to become demoralized when you’re sitting there feeling like a slab of pork.
While another guy’s there putting in the same amount of effort as you and is reaping the rewards.
You can’t compare your success to someone else’s, nor can you feel down because somebody happens to burn fat and build muscle much easier than you.
With that said, it’s easy to see why people turn to steroids.
And its steroids we’re going to be looking at today.
Mike O’Hearn is about as close to a real-life superhero as you can get.
But there have been steroid allegations floating around now for decades.
In this article, we are going to look at is Mike O’Hearn natural or on steroids.
To try to get to the bottom of things once and for all.

Before we start learning more about Mike.
We’ll first take care of the legal issues.
We do not condone the use of performance-enhancing drugs in any way.
But at the same time, we don’t cast judgment down on those that use them.
The aim of this article is to look at Mike O’Hearn in a bid to determine whether we think he is natural or is on steroids.
Remember, we’re here to provide an unbiased view as we have no way of knowing for sure whether he is, or is not, using steroids.
The opinions in this article are therefore our own.
And should not be taken as factual.
Now that we’ve covered that.
Let’s find out more about Mike O’Hearn.
Mike O’Hearn isn’t a man, he’s a superhero.
He looks like a Greek God.
In fact, some would say he looks better than a Greek God.
It may sound like we have a bit of a man-crush on ole Mike but we’re just stating the facts.
The man doesn’t age, and if anything, he just seems to get better and better as time passes by.
Maybe he doesn’t have blood coursing through his veins at all.
But fine wine?
All we know is that he is about as close to a real-life superhero as you can get.
He is a Jack of all trades as he is a fitness model, a bodybuilder, a TV personality, a sponsored athlete, a fitness rep, a personal trainer, a social media influencer, a powerlifter, a male model, an athlete, and much more besides.
See, and you thought we were exaggerating when we said he was superhuman?
Mike has been featured on the cover of over 500 magazines, many of which are health and fitness-based.
He is also a former Mr. Universe winner on multiple occasions.
A former Powerlifting champ, and is a multiple-time fitness model of the year.
There’s still more?
Yes, Mike is also a former American Gladiator.
Where he appeared as ‘Titan’.
What’s even remarkable is the fact that he was in both versions, meaning he appeared in 89 through to 1996, and again as ‘Thor’ more than a decade later in 2008.
Mike has literally done it all, and now, at the ripe old age of 51.
He’s still kicking ass and looks better than ever.
Mike O’Hearn doesn’t age, that’s obvious.
He’s 49 now and still looks better than ever and is still smashing his goals with minimal effort.
Mike grew up in Washington and is one of nine siblings.
Therefore sibling rivalry, no doubt played a massive role in his life growing up.
He was athletically gifted from a young age and excelled in a wide range of sporting disciplines.
He decided that he wanted to grow up to be a bodybuilder, like Arnold Schwarzenegger and others from the golden era of bodybuilding.
And so he took up bodybuilding at just 14 years of age.
He competed not long after and won his debut show.
Where he was crowned Teenage Washington State Champion.
In college, he played football, and not surprisingly.
He excelled at that as well as continuing to build his body.
He was a very big kid and piled on the muscle, and soon he started getting attention from the higher-ups in Hollywood.
Mike auditioned for the role of Titan in 1989, on the hit TV show American Gladiators.
With his amazing fitness, his huge muscles, and his insane conditioning and athleticism.
He knocked the audition out of the part and was given the role.
For the next 7 years, he proved to be one of the most dominant Gladiators on the show.
And it was very rare that he was bested by one of his opponents.
He was now more of a household name and so he began appearing on TV and landed a few supporting roles in Hollywood Movies, including Death Becomes Her.
He continued to compete in bodybuilding and Powerlifting shows and he continued to win.
In the late 2000s, he was now one of the most influential fitness competitors in the world and had a resume longer than his 6ft 3-inch frame.
Mike also appeared on the short-lived TV show Battle Dome.
Which was perhaps considered a hybrid of American Gladiators and pro wrestling.
He played Mike O’Dell, who was pretty much a character-based almost entirely on his own persona.
He was portrayed almost like an angelic god-like athlete.
As he would compete in all-white gear.
His blonde hair would be immaculate, and his physique would put many bodybuilders to shame.
Just like on Gladiators, he has been a very physical and very dominant athlete and was very successful in a wide range of different events.
Mike has one of the best physiques in the world and is one of the most respected figures in the fitness industry.
He has, therefore, graced the covers of some of the most popular and successful bodybuilding, health, and fitness magazines in the world, including Flex, and Muscle and Fitness.
To this day, Mike still trains pretty much constantly and at close to 50.
He looks light years ahead of men 20, even 30 years his junior.
Now, as well as training clients, creating workout programs, and appearing at fitness conventions and events with many famous fitness models such as Rob Riches.
He is also trying his hand at writing, producing, and directing.
Mike still gets in front of the cameras now and then.
But for now, he is focusing on working behind the lenses instead.
Mike O’Hearn is a very big dude.
He is 6ft 3inches tall and weighs in at around 247 pounds as of this writing.
In his prime, however, he was between 250 and 260 pounds.
Needless to say, this was ALL MUSCLE as he has barely an ounce of fat on his frame.
He was not only big, muscular, vascular, and conditioned.
He also was and still is, very symmetrical.
His physique flows effortlessly and it’s hard to find anything to critique about him.
If you were to create the ultimate male from scratch.
Mike O’Hearn is the model you would use.
People, therefore, refuse to believe he can look this good naturally.
Despite what he has claimed.
Which is why they have accused him of using steroids.
But do these people have a case or are they just jealous trolls?
Now is the time for us to delve a little deeper and to try to look for evidence of potential steroid use on Mike’s part.
After all, we mere mortals need something to help us feel better about ourselves, even if it does mean trying to find out whether Mike is natty as he claims.
Or if he’s riding a bicycle (running a cycle).
Here are some pieces of evidence both for, and against, potential steroid use on Mike’s part:
Okay, we know that genetically some people are bigger than others.
And some build muscle easier than others, but even so, Mike in his prime was absolutely huge.
At 260 plus pounds of solid muscle.
He was bigger than 90% of the population.
Even now, pushing 50, he is still around 250 pounds.
As mentioned, this is all pure muscle and we’re not sure that it would be possible to get to that size naturally.
Remember, when Arnold was winning Olympias for fun in the 1970s.
He was around 240 pounds at 6ft 2, and he has admitted to using steroids to get to that size.
Mike is 20 pounds heavier, yet he claims natural.
Hmm, we’re not so sure.
Some people that lift weights and weigh 250 – 260 also carry a decent amount of fat and water.
Sure, they have muscle mass, but that weight isn’t just muscle.
Not Mike, however.
Mike was probably born with ABS as he is constantly in crazy shape.
Literally, he is in single-digit body fat percentages at all times and looks almost ready to compete on stage at any given moment.
He is ripped to shreds, he is vascular, and his ABS looks as if they’re popping from his stomach, better than the super start Vin Diesel.
To get visible ABS in the first place is hard enough.
But to maintain them, and that type of condition.
When you are constantly busy, and on the road, well.
Let’s just say that naturally, you’d find it extremely tough.
Mike is constantly being called out for steroids use.
He has even created workout plans for natural bodybuilders.
These are very expensive, by the way.
Which is why a lot of people call him Mike O’Tren.
Despite the hate, Mike still claims to be natural as many models like Simeon panda.
And it’s obvious that he has superior genetics to most people.
So who knows, perhaps he is just a genetic freak.
Mike used to compete in Natural Mr.Universe for INBA he was subjected to drug tests.
Now, if you’ve heard of MuscleMania were you can see a huge natty's such as Brad Castleberry.
You’ll know that their drug testing policies are laughable as they only test athletes after a show.
The INBA however, tests their athletes randomly, and thoroughly.
Mike will have had to pass urine tests, polygraph tests.
And blood tests to compete and retain his title, and to his credit, he did.
Now, with planning and luck on their side, an athlete could beat 1, possibly even 2 of these random tests, but mike has 4 titles!
Now we’re really confused.
Well, this is where we struggle a bit.
You see, if you look at the dude, what with his crazy size and condition.
You’d swear that he was injecting Trenbolone, Test, Deca Durabolin, and much more besides.
However, he is a former NATURAL Mr.Universe and has won 4 times.
This means that he has passed at least 4 RANDOM drug tests.
Which could have been performed at any time.
It’s unlikely that he will have lucked out 4 times and just so happened to have no gear in his system each time he was tested.
So we’re scratching our heads here.
Maybe he really is a superhero after all?
