In the world of bodybuilding.

If you’re a fan of the sport you will no doubt know who Phil Heath is.

Phil ‘The Gift’ Heath is one of the most dominant bodybuilders in recent history.

With a whopping 7 Mr. Olympia titles under his belt.

Phil has now tied with arguably the GOAT, Arnold Schwarzenegger and he has his sights set on making history.

Phil intends on making history by becoming the first man in history to bag himself 9 Mr. Olympia wins.

He is only two wins away, and with time on his side, providing he can stay injury-free.

Many expect him to do exactly that.

Phil is a very polarizing figure in the bodybuilding community.

As generally, people either love him or hate him, with no middle ground.

When you see Phil, you can easily understand why people often wonder about Phil Heath steroids.

Phil is a massive human being.

But is he a natural athlete or has Phil Heath used steroids?

And if he has, which steroids could he have used?

Well, below we’ll be finding out as we look at what could be a Phil Heath steroids cycle and find out how the champ built his Olympia-winning physique.

The Legal Disclaimer

The content of this article is based purely on opinion and speculation on our part.

We are in no way associated with Phil Health and we have no proof that he has ever used steroids before in his life.

Now, some would argue that it’s obvious that he’s used steroids before.

But that’s not for us to say.

Therefore, when we look at a Phil Heath performance enhancing drug cycle.

There is no proof that it will actually be the cycle that Phil runs at all.

In fact, there is no proof that Phil is on, or has used, steroids at all.

So, now that we’ve got the legal disclaimer out of the way.

Let’s look at how Phil Heath became one of the most dominant bodybuilders in history.

Phil Heath Bio

Phil ‘The Gift’ Heath is a competitive IFBB pro bodybuilder with multiple Arnold Classic and Mr. Olympia wins under his belt.

Unlike many other bodybuilders, Phil’s story begins much later in life.

Many other pro bodybuilders began their journeys around 14 or 15 when they began lifting weights in high school.

Phil However had a different passion.

Phil was clearly born with superior genetics and subsequently.

He went on to gain himself an athletic scholarship with the University of Denver.

He played semi-pro basketball for Denver’s D1 basketball team.

He was clearly born with amazing genetics.

Which is actually where his nickname ‘the gift’ comes from.

Phil stands at 5ft 9 inches tall and weighs in at around 275 – 280 pounds for much of the year when he is the off-season.

When he competes, Phil weighs around 240 pounds, though, that all depends on what kind of package he intends on bringing to the Olympia stage.

Phil obviously had to work out and lift weights to stay in shape for basketball.

But it was clear right from the outset.

That Phil’s body responded much better to the weights than his other teammates.

On the basketball court, Phil showed off a lean, yet fairly muscular physique.

With barely a shred of fat on it.

He was ripped, and he was as strong as an ox.

Eventually, he began enjoying lifting weights in the gym more than playing basketball.

And when he saw how well his body responded to the weights.

He decided to pursue competitive bodybuilding instead.

Rising Of  The Bodybuilding Career

Back in 2002, aged just 23, Phil started taking his training seriously and he began competing as a bodybuilder.

He won numerous amateur shows and started turning heads whenever he competed.

When he competed.

The contrasts between Phil and the other competitors were astonishing.

Needless to say, it didn’t take him long to earn his IFBB pro card.

He turned pro in 2005, just three years after making his competitive debut on stage.

And things didn’t slow down there.

He won his debut show like a pro and won his very next show for good measure.

In 2007, Phil entered the Arnold Classic.

Which is considered the second-biggest bodybuilding contest in the world, and he placed a very respectful 5th place, earning him the chance to compete at the biggest bodybuilding contest in the world – Mr. Olympia.

Most bodybuilders would jump at the chance to compete at the Olympia.

Even if it was obvious that they wouldn’t stand a chance of winning.

Not Phil however.

Phil actually decided to skip the 2007 Olympia and give himself one full year to train, eat, and make the necessary improvements that he felt would help him when he did decide to compete against some of the greatest bodybuilders in the world.

In 2008, he presented a much bigger, fuller, and more symmetrical physique.

And placed second at the Arnold, behind Dexter Jackson, who in himself is one of the best of all time.

Phil debuted at the 2008 Mr. Olympia and amazingly he placed 3rd, behind Jay Cutler in second, and Dexter Jackson in 1st place.

Amazingly, Phil became the favorite to win the following year.

But, unfortunately, he picked up an illness.

Although it wouldn’t have mattered anyway, as 2009 was the year that Jay Cutler presented one of the best physiques to ever grace the Olympia stage.

Phil placed 5th that year, and 2nd the following year.

Again behind his long-time friend Jay Cutler.

This would be Cutler’s final Olympia win.

A New Rivalry

When Phil was competing, he faced competition from the likes of Dennis Wolfe and Dexter Jackson.

Despite this, the magazines focus on his rivalry with Jay Cutler.

As they were desperate to recreate a rivalry similar to the one that Jay had himself had with Ronnie Coleman several years prior.

The problem was that Phil and Jay were close friends.

And, therefore, they respected one another.

And as you know, a rivalry’s pretty damn boring if the two rivals are actually good friends.

In 2011, Phil won his first Mr. Olympia title and shortly after.

A new bodybuilder emerged on the scene and made his presence felt in a big way.

This bodybuilder was none other than Kai Greene.

And he would prove to be Phil’s biggest competitive rival to date.

Kai Greene was one of the biggest bodybuilders in recent history.

So big, in fact, that he made Phil look, well, not small, but not huge either.

Kai competed at weights between 250 and 280 on stage, and, other than his wide waist.

He was considered to have the perfect package.

Kai placed 4th at the Olympia on his debut alongside Shawn Rhoden.

And quickly set his sights on Phil and his title.

As Phil thrived under pressure.

He actually stepped up his game and began making noticeable improvements to his frame.

Because he looked so great, again, people began accusing Phil of anabolic steroids to build his body.

Phil Heath Steroids Stack

Okay, just so we’re clear, this is only an idea of what we think a Phil Heath performance-enhancing drugs could look like.

We actually have no idea of what Phil takes, or if he uses steroids at all.

A few years back, he was nearly caught out on camera.

As a fan asked him why he used steroids, and he began his answer with ‘because’ before one of his entourage advised him to not discuss the matter any further.

Anyways, that’s neither here nor there.

As we are here to look at what a typical Phil Heath stack could look like.

So, let’s take a look:

HGH with Insulin

Yes, we know these are hormones rather than steroids.

But they’re still very potent and are often stacked with other anabolic steroids.

A few months back in September 2017.

Phil won the Olympia under some controversy.

As he didn’t look his usual awesome self.

It transpires that he was dealing with a hernia.

Although some accused him of using HGH for men as well because his abdomen was so distended and bloated.

The idea behind the insulin is that it shuttles more nutrients into the muscle cells.

So the more they can absorb, the bigger you will likely look.

HGH is an anabolic hormone that stimulates protein synthesis as also it's used for medical things such as Sylvester Stallone's case.

From Phil’s ‘growth gut’ over the years.

We wouldn’t be shocked if it turned out that he had in fact been stacking insulin with HGH.

Trenbolone is arguably one of the most powerful oral anabolic steroids of all.

And it’s a safe bet that most pro bodybuilders out there are using, or have used, this potent steroid.

Trenbolone is renowned for its ability to promote impressive muscle mass and size while keeping fat under control.

Used mainly for bulking.

Tren doesn’t cause bloating like other bulking steroids.

Which is why IFBB pros probably use it in the run-up to competing on stage.

Phil weighs in at more than 240 pounds on stage.

Which for 5ft 9 and 3% body fat, is huge!

As Tren is so anabolic, we wouldn’t be surprised to learn that Phil has used Tren in the past.

Anavar is one of the most effective steroids for cutting in the entire world, making it perfect for Phil, and many other IFBB pros and Hollywood celebrities.

When a pro steps on stage, not only does he need to be incredibly lean, he also needs to be dry.

If a bodybuilder is retaining water.

It doesn’t matter what percentage his body fat is at.

He’s just not going to look good and he, or she, will place poorly.

Anavar is a cutting steroid that helps draw water out.

Making it ideal for bodybuilders that are looking to dry out.

The only other steroid that is effective for cutting is winstrol.

The problem with winstrol is that it gives the muscles a flat appearance, and that is disastrous for a bodybuilder.

Anavar, therefore, is far more likely to be used by Phil in the leadup to the Olympia.

Another bulking steroid that Phil probably uses is Anadrol.

Phil is a very strong bodybuilder, and subsequently.

He could use Anadrol to maintain his strength and size.

In the off-season, Anadrol is perfect as it promotes dramatic increases in muscle mass and strength.

The only downside is that it also causes you to retain water, so you do appear bloated.

In the off-season, Phil's face and arms do appear to be bloated.

So it could be the Anadrol doing this to him.

Post Cycle Therapy is a must for any steroid user, and IFBB pros know this better than anyone.

Pros in the big leagues make good money so they can afford the best gear.

And the best guidance and they will know that they need to use PCT after finishing a cycle.

PCT is designed to protect your hormones and your organs from potential damage caused by anabolic steroids.

Failing to run PCT can cause a number of Estrogenic side-effects, including gynecomastia and acne.

Phil has no visible signs of gyno or acne, so he almost certainly runs PCT.

Generally, when it comes to PCT.

There is either Clomid or Nolvadex used.

So you can bet that at least one, if not both, of these compounds.

Have been used by Phil once he has ended one of his cycles.

So, is this The Phil Heath Steroids Stack?

The answer to that question is ‘we’re not sure’ because we aren’t sure.

We don’t know what Phil takes, or if he takes anything at all.

Therefore, we are purely speculating on which drugs he would likely be using to help him build one of the biggest physiques in pro bodybuilding history.

Looking for a safer, legal alternative to Steroids? Consider Anvarol

Anvarol is a legal alternative to Anavar. It improves your strength and energy by stimulating phosphocreatine synthesis within your muscle tissue.
