Sage Northcutt: Steroids Or Natural?

Sage Northcutt: Steroids Or Natural?

Currently, more young males aged between 18 and 35 are using anabolic steroids than ever before.

They are primarily using these drugs to transform their physiques for the better.

More often than not, when we hear the word ‘steroids’ we think of hulking great bodybuilders with biceps bigger than most people’s legs.

While anabolic steroid use is indeed rife in the world of bodybuilding.

Both professionally and amateur, to build muscle and look great is not the only reason why people choose to use anabolic steroids.

Steroids are sometimes known as performance enhancing drugs, or PEDs for short.

This is why today we are looking at the Sage Northcutt steroids accusations that have been doing the rounds for the last year or so.

You see, as steroids can also improve a person’s athletic performance.

More and more athletes are using steroids so that they can compete at a higher level.

While Sage may be better known to some of you for his role in the upcoming Hollywood blockbuster ‘Creed 2’ with Michael B Jordan.

He earns his primary living as an MMA fighter.

He has recently found himself on the wrong side of steroid accusations.

But are the Sage Northcutt steroids accusations true or not?

That’s what we are going to attempt to find out today.

Legal Disclaimer

We do not know Sage personally, nor are we associated with him in any way, shape, or form.

The content of what you are about to read is based purely on speculation on our part and is by no means to be taken as literal truth.

We have no idea whether Sage has ever used steroids before.

Nor will we ever know for definite!

What we are going to attempt to do.

However, is form an educated opinion on the Sage Northcutt steroids accusations to try to find out whether he MAY have used steroids in the past.

So, without any further delay, let’s learn more about Sage, his career, his physique, and whether we believe he has used steroids in the past.

Who Is Sage Northcutt?

To get things started, we’ll bring you up to speed on whom Sage Northcutt actually is.

For those of you that don’t know.

Sage Northcutt is an MMA fighter turned Hollywood actor.

Sage is also a very young up and coming athlete whom many predict will do extremely well in the world of mixed martial arts.

Thanks to his young age, natural talent, strength, size, speed, and mindset.

That, however, is assuming he decides to stick with MMA as opposed to acting in Hollywood.

It is also assuming that he is able to stay injury-free.

Which in itself is a very big risk for athletes at any level.

Sage is now just 22 years of age, yet he already has a number of MMA fights under his belt, including several in the UFC, but more on that later.

Sage is young, good-looking, ripped to shreds, athletic, and clearly very talented.

But are all of these traits enough to have helped him become a top-tier mixed martial artist fighting in the biggest MMA organization on the planet.

Or did he use steroids as a former opponent of his, claims?

All will soon become clear, well, hopefully.

But, for now, let’s find out more about his career.

Both inside the Octagon and behind the cameras.

Sage Northcutt Career

Back in 2015, a young and eager MMA fighter will big hopes, dreams.

And aspirations got a shot at greatness, the likes of which most young fighters could only dream of.

He was signed up to the Ultimate Fighting Championship, better known as the UFC, aged just 19.

Sage, despite being so incredibly young, was no stranger to martial arts.

In fact, you could call him a veteran as he has been fighting since he was just 4 years of age.

By 5 he was regularly competing in Karate tournaments.

And it was clear that he had a natural talent for his chosen discipline.

He continued to train as he grew older.

And what’s even more impressive is the fact that he juggled his training with studying.

He studied as a petroleum engineer.

So you can get a rough idea of just how intelligent he is.

By the time he was 9, he appeared on the front cover of Sports Karate Magazine.

Becoming the youngest person to ever grace the cover of this prestigious magazine.

In his interview for the magazine, this young nine-year-old kid stated that he would one day fight in the UFC, and become a world champion.

Most people would have laughed and shrugged this off as nonsense.

But a decade later, the first half of his premonition came to fruition.

Dana White signed Sage to the UFC and threw him in at the deep end.

Since signing, he has had a fairly-impressive career in the UFC.

As he holds a record of 11 wins, 2 losses, and zero draws as of this writing.

That, however, is only one part of the story.

As he will also soon be gracing movie theatre screens in the upcoming ‘Creed 2’.

Creed 2

Sage recently completed filming the sequel to Creed, where he will play Ivan Drago’s son.

To refresh people’s memories, Ivan Drago first appeared in Rocky IV.

Where he would fight, and ultimately kill, Apollo Creed in the ring.

Needless to say, Rocky Balboa got his revenge, yet decades later, here we are again.

Ivan Drago was played by Dolph Lundgren.

And his resemblance to Sage Northcutt is fairly uncanny.

The general premise for Creed 2 will see Apollo Creed’s son take on Ivan Drago’s son in the ring, presumably to avenge his father.

Dolph Lundgren and Sylvester Stallone will both reprise their roles as Ivan Drago and Rocky Balboa respectively.

Sage Northcutt Workout

Sage has been involved in sports and fitness for 75% of his life thus far.

So it’s safe to say that he knows his way around a gym.

Safe stands at 6 feet in height and weighs around 170 – 175 pounds.

Now, on paper, those stats are hardly that impressive.

A 6-foot tall bodybuilder with 5% body fat.

Weighing in at 280 pounds would quite obviously be using something other than whey protein to build such an impressive physique.

A 170-pound man, however, would not raise that many suspicions.

Despite his stats, however, he looks awesome.

Which is down to his work ethic in the gym.

When he is training for a fight, he will implement a number of cardiovascular-based exercises for conditioning.

Along with some power and Olympic moves for strength.

Off-season, however, and in preparation for Creed 2, he followed more of a typical bodybuilder-type workout.

He would pair up two muscle groups and would opt for a push day and pull day.

Back and biceps for example, along with chest and shoulders.

Leg day would still be leg day.

He would perform a lot of heavy compound lifts such as squats, bench presses, deadlifts, chin-ups, and so on.

Sets would be between 3 and 4, and rep ranges would typically be in the 8 – 10 range.

Sage Northcutt Diet

As well as training, you will also know that in order to get in shape.

You need to ensure you are eating healthy produce.

Sage is incredibly strict with his diet, and he eats exactly what you would expect somebody that looks like him would eat.

Lean protein like white fish, chicken breast, egg whites, turkey, along with veggies, brown rice, lean red mince, and some omega 3s.

This diet is nothing fancy.

But from the looks of Sage.

It certainly works for him.

Sage Northcutt steroids

Now the time has come for us to try to determine whether or not the Sage Northcutt steroids allegations were true.

Or whether they were nothing more than spiteful allegations being thrown around by a bitter opponent.

Below we are going to look at some pieces of evidence both for, and against, potential steroid use on Sage’s part:

Steroid Allegations

To begin with, we’ll address the elephant in the room and will discuss the recent steroid accusations being thrown in Sage’s direction.

You see, one of Sage’s recent opponents, Cody Pfister.

Accused Sage of using steroids the weekend before they were due to fight at UFC Fight Night 80.

Of course Sage denies these accusations.

But does that tell us anything?

Well, not really, so let’s keep digging.

He Has Denied Using Steroids

After being accused of using anabolic steroids.

Sage received a decent amount of media attention.

When asked whether there was any truth to these accusations.

Sage emphatically said that there wasn’t.

Sage claims that he has been tested by USADA (United States Anti-Doping Agency) 3 times.

As well as once by the Texas Boxing Commission.

All UFC fighters are now tested by USADA like Conor Mcgregor.

And many big names have been busted in the past.

Including Jon ‘Bones’ Jones, and former UFC and WWE Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar.

In fact, Sage claims that he was recently tested by USADA randomly, at 6 am in the morning.

They arrived at his home, unannounced, and requested blood and urine samples, which Sage happily provided.

He has never failed a drug test.

So recently, it would appear that he has not used steroids.

Though that certainly doesn’t mean that he hasn’t used them in the past.

Anybody can deny using steroids, and Sage would obviously have a lot to lose if he was busted.

So even if he was using them, the smart money would still be on him denying it.

In his favor, however, is the fact that he has been tested randomly multiple times.

And he has not yet failed a drug test, not to our knowledge at least.

His Size

Some people, when you clap eyes on them for the first time.

It is obvious that they are using steroids, or have used them in the past.

They are typically very big and muscular and have other tell-tale signs of steroid use.

Which we will be looking at later.

Sage, however, is far from a huge dude.

He is around 170-pounds, and while muscular.

If you saw him in clothing, he would look fairly average.

So far it is looking promising for Sage.

Regarding his potential steroid use.

No Obvious Signs Of Steroid Use

Another way of telling whether somebody is using steroids or not is to simply take a look at their bodies and look for some obvious side-effects.

Flushed skin, rounded deltoids, puffy nipples, acne, hair loss/excessive hair growth, and oily skin are obvious signs of steroid use.

Sage has none of those things as far as we can tell.

Another giveaway is a distended abdomen.

This is due to HGH use, causing the organs to swell and expand, and push against the stomach.

HGH isn’t a steroid, but it is commonly used with steroids.

Sage does not have this either.

His Condition

One thing you will notice about Sage is the fact that he is always in shape.

By ‘in shape’ we mean ripped to shreds.

He constantly has six-pack abs, he is always ripped and vascular.

And his body fat seems to be in single-digit percentages for much of the year.

Maintaining this type of shape constantly requires a lot of hard work, both in the gym and in the kitchen.

With fat-burning steroids such as clenbuterol and Winstrol however, it is certainly much easier.

Does this mean Sage uses these compounds?

Absolutely not.

The Verdict

So, is there any truth to the Sage Northcutt steroids accusations, or does Sage appear to be natural?

You might like to read about Steroids VS Natural people.

From the evidence above, and from what we can see without own eyes.

We believe Sage to be a natural athlete as his physique can certainly be achieved and maintained naturally, though it would still be difficult.

Sage Northcutt natural or not he doesn’t have any acne. He doesn’t have any flesh skin. he doesn’t lose any hair but is that really his hair how we know he doesn’t have a hair transplant or hair system. or both. i’ve bing this with Chatgpt. there are some people with such great genetics. They don’t get any acne don’t get any flush skin ether. hair I mean it’s very rare that it wouldn’t have effect on his hair, but like I’ve said. is that really his hair how he know he doesn’t have a hair transplant or hair system or both. One side effect he has to stay too lean all you around that is nearly impossible for a natural bodybuilder. Is he on steroids? I may never know for sure, but I’m guessing he probably is.
